TERMS OF SERVICE

Presence
For the purposes of these terms, a visitor is any person occupying the space immediately behind their eyes. If that space is occupied by more than one person, please take turns.
Admission
Entry is recorded when the room notices you. Arriving earlier does not improve your position in the queue. Leaving before admission may result in a second arrival being issued to your address.
Personal effects
You retain ownership of all objects brought here, except those that were waiting for you before you brought them. Such objects should be treated as correspondence.
Names
The name you provide may be used to distinguish you from the empty place beside you. If both answer, the place will be served first. Names left unattended become available to other visitors after closing.
Service interruptions
Service may be interrupted by maintenance, weather inside the walls, or the discovery of an additional floor. During an interruption, remain on the side of the surface from which you entered.
Copies
A copy of you is entitled to its own receipt. We do not compare originals. If a copy claims to have arrived first, ask it to describe the room before the room was furnished.
Unclaimed time
Time spent waiting is held at the counter for seven working evenings. Uncollected intervals are folded into the next available afternoon. We cannot guarantee that an afternoon will contain only its own hours.
Correspondence
All complaints must be placed beneath the sound that caused them. Replies are delivered to the last location where the recipient was certain of something. A missing reply may already be supporting a piece of furniture.
Departure
Upon leaving, take the same number of footsteps you used to enter. Any remaining footsteps should be returned separately. Do not attempt to recover them by walking backward through another visitor.
Amendments
These conditions may be revised without moving the words. If a familiar sentence begins to mean something else, the revised edition is already in effect. Retain your understanding of the previous sentence for inspection.
